Finally the Activists for Change, A4C are out of Kampala for upcountry areas to preach change.
The group that recently changed tactics from the controversial walk to work protests to public rallies successfully addressed gatherings in Mukono yesterday.
The group which is dominated by opposition politicians is speaking strongly against corruption and courting the masses to join the struggle.
They also claim they are preparing the masses for change in a move that the Inspector General of Police has described as a ploy to overthrow a legitimate regime.
A4C national coordinator and Masaka Municipality MP Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba says corruption is transforming into a state policy since the culprits are shielded by the regime.
Mukono is the first in a series of rallies to be held outside Kampala.
FDC Supremo Retired Colonel Doctor Warren Kizza Besigye says that the open act of undermining Parliament over oil deals is the latest in mistakes by the regime that only help to portray a road to its collapse.
“Besigye’s government if it ever comes will not allow oil companies with questionable contracts to drill oil here”, Besigye said
The opposition has also threatened they will sue the ruling party over illegal occupancy of their seats in Parliament.
