A new a study to transform East Africa from regional to a global integration has been released today 15th February 2012 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
The workshop which started at 9:00am aimed at releasing the new study which looks at the Economic Geography of East African Community ( EAC ) offers policy options for leveraging the benefit of regional integration through the 3D perspective: Distance, Divisions and Destiny.
The Senior Economist of World Bank, Mr. Anton Dobronogov while summarising the EAC problems in the 3D perspective insisted that people should Go coastal and think Global, Start small and scale up gradually, Compensate the least fortunate. More on this story later today.
