The Uganda communications commission has faulted the interception of communications act 2010, as the reason criminals are using phones to abate crime and get away with it. The commission says that the law does not limit registration which provides room for criminals to undertake multiple registration using fake identification.
This after information making rounds indicate that the former AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, received threatening messages from the would be killers whose identity was concealed.
